If you like the Guitar Hero Series you might be happy to hear this. Activision made official the details for Guitar Hero 4: World Tour that were in Game Informer last week. This is not bound only for Wii but it's for all the systems It will feature a full instrument set which means guitar, drums, vocals, and bass/rythm guitar. It will also allow you to record, edit, and share your own songs online using the in-game studio tools (finally I can express my creative freedom!).
"Guitar Hero has set the standard for music-based gaming and with Guitar Hero World Tour and the game's groundbreaking Music Studio, we are once again delivering unprecedented innovation that has the potential to revolutionize consumer generated music, much in the same way that video sharing hubs have driven user generated video," said Dusty Welch, Head of Publishing for RedOctane. "With the introduction of our advanced high-quality new wireless instruments, in-depth customization options and advanced online functionality, the game enables music fans and gamers globally to share in the most social and expressive music experience ever."
Activision re-iterates the details it released from last week and said it will include a feature called Battle of the Bands in which up to 8 people can play "band-2-band" online (cool huh?). Activision also said the Wii version will have downloadable content, which I know we've all been waiting for. Thats all for this week, stay tuned for more details!
